Intimate Fall Wedding at Wild Skies Resort

Tiffany and Stephanie’s September wedding was one of my favourites…and what’s even better, is that we get to do it all over again next fall, just for a larger group of people!

The couple decided they wanted to still get married on their original 2021 wedding date, but they would postpone the big party until 2022. Steph is a doctor, and Tiff is a wedding photographer, so they both had a pretty good idea of what would be safe and allowable this year. Hello, Maternity Leave!

Hello from maternity leave! Starting this week, my mat leave officially begins! I’ll be monitoring my email until the baby shows up (which could be literally any time!), and will then be taking a FULL maternity leave through April. I recognize with gratitude how much of a blessing this dedicated time with the baby will be, and am so happy that even as a self-employed person, I’ll be able to take this time off. During this time I will not be responding to any emails (in fact, my contact form will be turned off). I will begin limited office hours in April and plan to begin meeting with 2023 prospective clients who are already on my waitlist at this point.

Whimsical Summer Camp Wedding at the Lake

I love a good wedding at the lake, and when Caitlyn first reached out to me, I was so excited to hear some of her preliminary ideas and the general idea of having the wedding at a camp!

Mid-way through the planning, the venue actually changed and they ended up at King’s Cabins, which I think is kind of a fishing camp and it was SO COOL. The ambiance was amazing and I can’t wait to show you how everything came together!
