Kaeleigh and Craig's Berry Toned Wedding at Bridges Golf Course
GUYS. Any time you tell me that you want berry tones, or any kind of rich and vibrant colour palette, I'm going to get seriously excited. When we started planning Kaeleigh's flowers, she pulled out a stack of paint colour swatches to show me the vibrancy and pigmentation that she wanted. I LOVED it. Magenta, plum, raspberry, lilac, fuchsia, and a delicate touch of blush combined to create just the most perfect colour palette for a summertime wedding (and worked beautifully with her soft blush gown!).
SERIOUSLY. Am I right, or am I right? I looked forward to designing this bouquet for a long time :) Kaeleigh's bridal bouquet featured stock, anemones, locally grown ranunculus, spray roses, several varieties of standard roses, and my favourite - delicious, rich foxglove. The reception was held at Bridges Golf Course, where I added colour to the tables with wreaths and lanterns.
Special thank you to Izabela from Rachwal Photography - she's awesome! If you're looking for a wedding photographer, look her up!

Fiesta Garden Party Wedding with Amanda Douglas Events
This was another of the fun wedding inspiration designs that I got to be a part of through the Wedding Planners Styled Editorial I organized with Host Winnipeg at Cielo's Garden.
Amanda Douglas Events conceptualized a fun, modern, fiesta-inspired garden party. I've really been desiring bright, bold colours and the way Amanda used bright tones mixed with natural textures and coloured glass was so much fun.

Melanie and Jarrod's Summertime Country Wedding
Melanie and Jarrod celebrated their summertime wedding at their beautiful country property. With a beautiful garden and verdant green lawn, this was such a lovely setting for a wedding. They popped up a tent for their reception and hosted the ceremony right on their front lawn.
I absolutely loved all the colour I got to use in the flowers. Melanie was pretty open to my suggestions, and just knew that she wanted to use pinks and creams, with a summery, casual feel. I suggested that we tuck in touches of caramel and yellow to her bouquet, and absolutely LOVE the final result. I also loved the locally grown flowers that I got to use - the lisianthus and zinnias were perfect for Melanie's bouquet! For the aisle, we chose simple baby's breath bouquets and did some flower tie-backs for the curtains on the chuppah. Each of the tables in the tent had simple stem vases with pink and white blooms.
Thank you to Janique Tessier Photography for these photos!
Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Hydrangea, Combo roses, pink lisianthus, pink and white zinnias, rice flower, and seeded eucalyptus.
Brunch-Inspired Wedding Inspiration at Cielo's Garden
It's time for a little more colour and a lot of fun! Emily from Feast & Festivities created this adorable tablescape at our recent styled photoshoot day, co-hosted by Stone House Creative and Host Winnipeg. I provided the florals, going a little bolder with brighter pinks and I had a lot of fun with this design. Emily brought it all together with some cute DIYs (mini pancakes, anyone?) and her signature, fantastic style.
Emily also styled an ADORABLE bridal session, which you'll see at the end of this post. I love how her personal style shows though in that cute hat! And, I just loved the bouquet that I designed for this. Sometimes, all of the flowers just go into the right places and it comes together really nicely - that was the case here!

Matt and Amanda's Spring Wedding at Cielo's Garden
Early June is amazing time for flowers - all of your favourites are available. Peonies, tulips, iris - plus, it's the perfect time to indulge in a palette of pastels! Matt and Amanda's wedding at Cielo's Garden was in early June on one of the most lovely days imaginable.
I loved working with Amanda on her flowers. She let me play with her pastel palette, so we used the most amazing soft pink hydrangea, light pink peonies, butter yellow stock, lavender stock and freesia, white and yellow iris, and delicious Queen Anne's Lace. I also tucked in Solomon's Seal and eucalyptus foliage.
I love these photos from Rachwal Photography!
I had been looking forward to this ceremony design for months. Amanda was open to whatever I suggested, and I had been wanting to suspend a garland from the open ceiling of Cielo's chapel for a long time. I added in a floral spotlight in the same pastel tones in her bouquet, and later I found out that throughout the ceremony, butterflies were attracted to the flowers. Isn't that beautiful?
The long farm tables at the reception were laid with Italian Ruscus stems, with loose blooms tucked in throughout the length of the tables. I loved the taper candles and other accents that Amanda selected.
