The Gates on Roblin

Erin and Daniel asked me to design their entire wedding, seeking a bold, rich colour palette, a romantic ceremony vibe, and a killler party. The only hitch was that it would all take place in the same room.

Together with their planner, Alli Mae Events, we created a space the likes of which has never been seen at the Gates on Roblin before. We started with the ceremony space, draping it entirely in white voile and laying down a patterned aisle runner decal. A clear chuppah festooned with flowers, hanging floral clouds dancing above the aisle, and candlelight brought it all together.

While guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio, the entire room was transformed into the afterparty: a sweetheart table was moved under the chuppah, the aisle decal became a dramatic dance floor, and an epic candy-bar-meets-temporary-tattoo-parlour were installed, ensuring a lively and energetic dance party that lasted all night.
